Ojai Valley Transportation
Ojai Limousine, Wedding & Wine Tour Transportation
Ojai is reached from the coast on SR-33 or SR-150, two-lane routes through the Ojai Valley rather than freeway approaches. That access is the single most important planning factor for transportation here, and it shapes vehicle choice, timing and where a large group can realistically be dropped off.

Ojai has no freeway, and that is the whole planning problem
Every trip to or from Ojai ends with Highway 33. The Ojai Valley Inn puts it plainly in its own directions: from Burbank or LAX you take the 101 west and then Highway 33 north, and Ojai is fourteen miles from that point. Those fourteen miles are not freeway miles. They do not drive at freeway speed, they do not clear like a freeway when something goes wrong, and a map estimate that treats them as ordinary road will make you late. We plan the departure with that leg costed properly.
The Inn, and the weddings that come with it
The Ojai Valley Inn at 905 Country Club Road is the venue most Ojai requests are built around, and a resort wedding means guests arriving from several directions across a weekend rather than one ceremony arrival. Guests coming from Santa Barbara have a choice of Highway 33 or the scenic Route 150 over Casitas Pass; one is quicker and the other is prettier, and on a wedding morning that distinction matters. Send the ceremony time and the guest origins and the arrivals get sequenced.
Which airport, and why it is usually not LAX
Santa Barbara is the closest airport to Ojai by a wide margin and is very often the right answer for guests who have a choice. Hollywood Burbank is the next most sensible. LAX is the longest of the three and adds the whole basin to a trip that already ends with fourteen miles of Highway 33. If your guests are still booking flights, that is worth telling them before they book rather than after.

Common Questions
Plan with confidence
- Can a large bus reach my Ojai wedding venue?
- Not every Ojai venue is reachable by a full-size coach, and some are best served by smaller vehicles making more than one run. Send the venue name and address early so reservations can review the access and propose a workable plan rather than discovering the problem on the day.
- Can you shuttle guests between an Ojai hotel and the venue?
- Yes. Provide the hotel, the venue, the guest count and the times you want guests moved in each direction. Multiple runs may be more practical than a single large vehicle depending on the roads involved.
- Do you provide Ojai wine and tasting-room transportation?
- Yes. List the tasting rooms or the area you have in mind, the group size and your preferred start and end times, and reservations will quote the itinerary as continuous service.
- How long does it take to get to Ojai from LAX?
- Longer than the distance implies. The route runs the 101 west and then Highway 33 north, and the Ojai Valley Inn puts the final leg at fourteen miles from the 33 exit. That stretch is not freeway, so it does not drive like one. Send the flight and reservations will build the pickup around the real journey rather than a map estimate.
- Which airport should our wedding guests fly into?
- Santa Barbara is closest to Ojai by a clear margin, then Hollywood Burbank, then LAX. Guests flying into Santa Barbara can come over Highway 33 or the scenic Route 150 through Casitas Pass. If guests are still booking, telling them this first usually saves everyone a long afternoon.
- Can a large vehicle make the drive up Highway 33?
- Most can, but it is a two-lane highway rather than a freeway and the journey time is different from what a map suggests. Send the passenger count and the venue and reservations will confirm which vehicles are sensible for the road as well as for the group.
Riders
What customers say
Tremendous for group travel. Drivers, reservations and dispatch are all top notch.
Me and my friends did a wine tour and it was a lot of fun. The driver was nice and the car made us look good. If you know you’re going from place to place this is better than a rideshare for sure.
Outstanding service! Rachel was one of the best customer service people I have ever dealt with. The driver was also excellent!
