A private arrival is not a terminal pickup and there is no arrivals board to watch. Van Nuys alone has four fixed-base operators - Castle and Cooke Aviation, Clay Lacy Aviation, Jet Aviation and Signature Aviation - on a 730-acre field, and turning up at the wrong one is a real delay on a field that size. Camarillo Airport is simpler, with Channel Islands Aviation as the FBO. Send the FBO name with the booking, every time.

Tail number, operator, and a crew contact

Private aircraft land early as often as they land late, and the schedule you were given is the schedule before the winds. The tail number and the operator let us track the actual aircraft; a passenger or crew contact number covers the rest. With those three details the car is waiting when you walk off. Without them we are guessing from a departure time somebody quoted last week.
