San Pedro is a long way from Ventura County

The Los Angeles Cruise Terminal - the World Cruise Center - is at 100 Swinford Street in San Pedro, off Harbor Boulevard with direct access from the I-110. From Camarillo or Ventura that is a genuine cross-basin drive rather than a local airport run, and it is the trip where people most often underestimate the departure time. Boarding closes well before sailing, so the pickup is built backward from the boarding window, not from the sailing time printed on the ticket.

Luggage is the whole problem

A cruise is the one trip where every passenger brings a full-size case and often two. Four people with cruise luggage do not fit the vehicle that four people with carry-ons do, and on the return leg nothing has got smaller.
